I am currently a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Princeton University and the National Oceanographic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) Geophysical Fluid Dynamics Laboratory (GFDL). I am working with snow simulations from GFDL’s state-of-the-art high-resolution global climate models to understand 1) how well simulations match observations in mountainous regions including High Mountain Asia and the western United States, 2) when climate change signals become detectable in different snow metrics in these large ensembles, and 3) what these simulations suggest about future snow in these snow-dependent regions. Broadly, my interests are focused on mountain climate and cryosphere.
